Difference Between Online Therapy & In-Office Therapy

In short terms, there is no difference.

Our therapist provide an online therapy where you will develop a relationship the same way as it would develop in an office setting. We have to acknowledge that modern technology enables us to have the samy dynamic of interactions as we would have while doing in-office therapy.

Also, after a few sessions it will also be clear that there are many advantages to online therapy: flexibility, less interactions, easier access and many others. Specially having in mind modern and hectic way of living, only online therapy gives us opportunity to have an online counselling session anywhere in the world.

As with all therapy, Online Therapy starts with setting goals and making initial analysis. We talk about your goals and what would be desired outcomes. After that comes a therapy agreement where we lay down ground rules. Have in mind that like with all therapy, there will also be homework while doing Online Therapy, and like for all of our clients – If you get a package, you’ll get an access to our portal for support and education in between sessions.

General Information for Counselling Sessions in Thailand:

  • Always come prepared – at least 10% of time spent on travelling to office, spend preparing for your session by writing down your goals and what you want to accomplish
  • Come rested and come on time
  • No alcohol
  • Reserve at least 10 minutes of your time to process and write down your insights from the session
  • Make sure you have a private space where you won’t be interrupted or distracted
